The beets are growing in the ground, the green beans have been picked and worked up twice.  Onions have been picked and are drying, and the rest of the garden is coming on.  Busy country life is in full swing.  Just the way that we apparently like it…or we wouldn’t plant a garden.

This year our little baby peach trees have actually put out a peach or two.  Big excitement on the farm with that news.

The weeds are growing, as are the kids.  It sure doesn’t take long with all of this rain.  I am not complaining because it sure beats a dry year and I know that there are some that would love to have rain.  It does come with it’s own set of circumstances though and weeds are definitely one of them.

Our July Fourth celebration has come and gone and was a wonderful time.  We are very thankful to the Lord for that.  It’s a lot of work but it’s a joy to share our home with our church folks.

Our kind of busy is so much different than the busy of those that live in the city.  It comes in batches.  It isn’t always an everyday thing…so much…as a busy season.  I hope that makes a lick of sense to ya. I’m sure that you catch my drift. 😉

I hope that you are having a great Tuesday!

Love from the Farmhouse,
