Aren’t old dressers so much fun? Now days people are painting them and doing all kinds of amazing things. I love that. My husband’s aunt…Sherri Beth, just finished one for her daughter. It looked great! I also have a friend that turned a ho-hum set…into two amazing pieces. You people are great…out there!
This dresser was an anniversary gift. Number sixteen I believe. I was thrilled when I found it for forty dollars. I love it so much, in its rough condition, that I have not had the heart to paint it yet. It’s not only pretty…but handy too. The deep drawers provide lots more storage space. I am in love with that. So. Much.
Do you have pieces like this? I would love to hear about them!
Happy Tuesday, Dirt Roadikins! May it be very blessed!
Yes I love old dressers too but I agree some just have too much character the way they are to do anything different with them!
Sherri….this one could use some knobs on the bottom! lol!
Old dressers are wonderful! I have one that is very old and happens to be in good condition. I love it just as it is. But I have seen some beautiful painted ones too!
Joy…I’ll bet that it’s beautiful. They just make the neatest pieces of furniture. 🙂
