Along the Dirt Road 
I dream of a fall breeze blowing the fallen leaves around the yard, of light weight jackets and a warm cup of hot chocolate . Then reality hits and I am mentally torn between the two truths to our “neck of the woods “. I remember many a hot Halloween and also I remember snowy halloweens . Perhaps Mother Nature will give us something inbetween .
Carol…I totally get that. It’s a bit unpredictable isn’t it. Perhaps you are right and we will get a nice balance.
I personally cannot wait until fall! I can’t wait for predictable schedules, homeschooling all the subjects, cool breezes , fall colors& decorating! And yes at one of the biggest horseshows of the summer here in NY I bought some perfectly shaped mini white pumpkins that I can’t wait to put on my mantel !
